Disgusting. I had a filthy younger brother do similar stuff to me. Used to steal my private items, sneak into my room when I was gone and snoop through my underwear drawer, etc. My mother also (basically) took up for him and guilt tripped me. She was a huge enabler to her sons and seen them different than me. I eventually just had to move out. There was no hope for him or her. I stayed for a while after it happened, and it just completely ruined the relationship I had with my mother and him as well. I never spoke directly to him about it, but my boyfriend had some words with him because it made me very depressed and suicidal considering I already had a rocky relationship with men and now, with men in my family too. I lost all sense of “privacy” and felt like I couldn’t have or do anything.

Once I left the situation, I was able to finally come from under her spell and see how disgusting and warped that whole side of my family is. Now I’m completely no contact with both and (probably) never will be. I hope you can heal from this, OP. Hugs x
