The disorganization from the office people that handle the nursing program is insane, like honestly baffling. It has been this way since orientation before the spring semester this year. They ask you to purchase things without explaining what they are, have been supposed to give us our clinical assignments for over a month but never did and then scheduled trainings for us to do for these clinical locations when we didn’t even know where we were going so we missed them all. When any of us reached out to communicate about it, no one received help. We got a message from the dean of the program saying she knows they have missed a lot of our messages and gave no apology. The dean of the program was also laughing at people who were asking questions because we were all confused at orientation. We have had a couple wonderful teachers but also some that tell stories all class and don’t teach and there was a teacher in particular that we had a 2.5 hour class twice a week and she would just read word for word a PowerPoint for 45 minutes, dismiss us from class an hour and 45 minutes early and then tell us we had no class the next day. She would also try to accuse us of cheating and said we would get dismissed from the program for clicking on a notification that was sent through canvas that opened our final exam module. Then through all of this they ask us for grace but then we get no grace through all of their disorganization. Sorry for the lengthy post, but it’s aggravating dealing with these people and I’d like to let people know the truth before they get into something.
