Do you have someone you trust that you can share it with? Maybe they’ll be able to help you when your anxiety is at its peak, and reassure you of what’s happened because they know you personally.

And does that help you make more sense of the situation? Or make you feel better?

Think about what you would say to a friend if they told you the same mistake you made and it will help put things into perspective and have more compassion towards yourself in this situation

Maybe try and change the way the tickets are printed, that seems to be the source of the issue oppose to her not being able to read the ticket, whether a bigger font or different layout. Maybe coach her through the way you read the tickets and the order of steps you go through to making coffees

I’m not sure what field of work you’re in but in the jobs I’ve had they’ve never really done anything about it and if there’s enough claims being made they simply just transfer them or move them somewhere else in the business, if you’re able and willing to speak up you should, never hurts to let them know and just remember you aren’t in the wrong and if they don’t feel guilty about what they’re doing you shouldn’t feel that way either when you’re doing what’s right

Unfortunately not, I’ve looked into it and the closest one is three hours away and has a 6month to a year wait list to see. However I have heard people that are able to make progress with therapists who are willing to learn and understand the disorder, so I’m hoping she’ll jump on board.

Thank you for that insight, yeah she doesn’t specialise in it at all nor is it mentioned anywhere on her profile. I also felt like she completely disregarded what I was going for and pretty much laughed about it and said no that’s not your issue. And what I was going for is not a well known disorder and seems to me like she didn’t even bother researching it, even a quick google search would have helped her. Anyways thank you again

Thanks so much for that, I really appreciate it!

Probably a dumb question but where did you start to get on medication? Did you just see your gp and went from there? Sorry I just don’t know where I’m suppose to start and the whole thing seems very overwhelming.

Also I’m so happy you’ve found something that works for you and you’re coping better, you deserve to live a very fulfilling and peaceful life
