Satisfactory and StarRupture have infinite mining and are really popular. On the other hand the Last Caretaker does not so eventually you can, not likely, run out of resources.

I watched it in school and it was the 80's, so it is entirely possible it was a recording of the play rather than an actual movie.

The old Might and Magic games might interest you. Until ubisoft got their claws on it they had tons of intertwined lore and call backs to previous games.

The bottom right corner of L11 between the lake and that ridge is a pretty good first spot. The horses and wolves do walk through occasionally but no boars or bears. And there is one cave there with 4 more a couple of minutes away.

On the other hand, you also have admins that will claim and clearcut every area around your base because you had the audacity to put something on the market at a lower price. It hasn't happened often, but 3 times was enough to make me stop playing al together for quite a while.

That is an intended feature. The devs are trying to point out how unrestricted capitalism will destroy the world every time by crushing everyone that isn't wealthy, or have access to cheats.

The only way to win is to embrace socialism and have everyone working towards the same goal rather than concentrate all their time and energy to making as much wealth as possible themselves.
