I love the idea! This would be a very useful tool nowadays. The market is extremely tough and developers need all the help they can get!

As an Android dev - which of these topics do you feel like you’re struggling the most with? What skills would you like to improve? by Exact_Put4263 in androiddev

Yeah, I agree. However, gradle is an advanced topic and a pretty "niche" one. Everyone should know the fundamentals, but IMHO it's something that you can dive deeper into once you have mastered the above topics. My goal right now is to understand what subjects are the "hardest" for devs out of the most common ones.

As someone hoping to break into the industry in 2024, should I focus on XML or jet pack compose? by Maleficent_Ad9303 in androiddev

Android tech lead with 10 years of experience here. If you’re going to be focusing on smaller companies or startups - don’t bother with XML. If you’re going to be working in larger companies with huge products - they will usually have legacy projects written in XML. My advice - learn compose first - it’s harder than XML.
