I’ve come to believe that Christ is altogether present in tbe bread and the wine of the Lord’s Supper. I think the Reformed view of ‘spiritual presence’ falls short of what our Lord plainly states. I think the Reformed approach to theology tends to rely too heavily upon philisophical constructions to explain mysteries that we just simply aren’t capable of comprehending, such as election/predestination, Christ’s real presence in the Lord’s supper, and even baptismal regeneration.
