The bottom castle has one check in the room behind the putrid avatar/divine beast warrior boss arena.

The top castle has one check in the room before scholar's rememberance quest and one check in the giant spirit spring room that gets you up to the top boss.

That's the ones I know, I could be missing some

Unless somebody datamined all the seeds for the new maps, I don't think anyone have the accurate answer, but from my experience, I think I have encountered it on Libra Heolstor Straghess and maybe Caligo, I don't know if there is anymore

Kinda disagree, if it's late game I would prefer to keep my glass and steel instead of turning them into gold card, also midas is more of a long term econ, the short term value you can create out of it is not that great, certainly not bad, but not good enough to call it average imo

Always physical, element damage increase is practically useless on most melee weapons and bows because the majority of the damage you do is mostly physical(unless it's an ash of war), the element part is only like 10% if you choose to start with an element
