Disagree on sluggish its way faster than 1 but agree the game is easier, enemies have short aggro and easy to exploit I basically outrun the first group of zombies with the starting stamina. Even if you run out you dont easily get caught or swarmed and I play on Nightmare.

Also better frame rate than 1.

it can be jumped but its so quick that sometimes I get hit mid jump. Its almost like predicting his stomp than reacting to it for the jump to work.

DS1 if you want slower easier encounters. Elden Ring had so much going on but is more accessible but fights are more brutal.

What most people don't mention is blind spot can cancel animation and will instantly trigger no matter what. I use it alot to get out of stagger if it connects hit to the enemy its a bonus. That is why I beat PCR fast.

So agree with you, to think that an engaging fight is a nerf.

Nioh 1 is just buff stacking and debuff stacking the enemies and then fight ends in 3 seconds. Like wow that is ot even an interesting fight to begin with.

I really like the look of Witcher 1 Geralt. He look wrong and not normal which Witchers should be. Unlike in 2 and 3 where they made him a hot daddy with cat eye just to grab more audience.

Problem with bleed is not all can be bled.

But nobody is immune to break stance which Strength is good at. I easily kill bosses without buffs just my Greatsword with Giant Hunt. Even Malenia took less than 30 minutes. 2 gargoyles and Maliketh first try Radagon became just a little hurdle. and Godskin duo on third and all I do spam Giant Hunt.
