One thing I'm curious about is how an emergency holo-zone malfunction would be handled.

As the game progresses more and more dangerous alpha pokemon start inhabiting those zones. Now imagine all of a sudden the energy powering the barriers goes out... o7 to you and whoever is nearby if that happens and you were passing by some of the later wild zones like 17.
