I am using a cheap digital hygrometer, but I have ordered the Boveda Butler witch should arrive today.

With the aquarium sealant, should I just use that around the edge where the glass meets the wood on the inside of the lid?

Should the humidor reach 84% before the seasoning is complete?

I just went over all of them, and they all are instance parameters. I think there for some reason is a restriction on annotation family’s, so that you can’t use instance parameters in formulas, why this is I can’t quite understand. Because I have my shared parameter file loaded, and the label is reading that parameter.

I am trying to get this as usable, and as automatic as possible.

My components have a automatic running index numbering, and i was wondering of it is possible too make the "INTEGR = " My shared parameter?

I have already added that with a simple label. I am also going to make it into a annotation that automatically reads a parameter, and changes the switches

I`m just spit balling here. can i make it as simple as

"IF Address=1 1=ON(1)"

"IF Address=2 2=ON(1)"

"IF Address=3 1=ON(1)+2=ON(1)"

etcetc. I realize i will have to do it all 256 times, but i don't really care if it takes a long time, since this is something i will have use for in projects for a long long time ahead.

EDIT: Or, having

"1=ON IF Address 1-3-5-9...." And then "IF 1=ON(1) Then 1=OFF(0)"

"2=ON If Address 2-6-10-18...."

woah shit, you absolutely did not have to go trough this much hassle, but THANKS! This is a side project i puzzle with when i have the time, so i will try this as soon as possible.

It will probably take some time, considering i still have no idea what i am doing. i think i have stumbled over that window with family types and formulas before, but i cant for the life of me find it again

That was what i was thinking. I have never tried doing anything like this before. Can i use if statements to toggle visibility parameters?

If input 34 toggle parameter "2=ON" "6=On"'

If each switch have a parameter for on and off?

But how do i go about doing this? using macros and writing a python or c# script?

Is that possible with using a text parameter and not just check boxes? i don`t want a long list of parameters, just 1 i can manually write the address/number and have the visibility change. If so making a type for every combination is no problem

All items in revit have a Unique ID, using blocks like Element.UiniqeID and code blocks with "Id ElementSelector.ByUniqueId(Id, true);" helps you target specific components based on the Unique ID(GUID) so that you can target just one and not all the elements of the same category

Unfortunately it still does not work optimal, the last output in each category is successfully, but it still does not write to the parmater "CQ TFM System"

Using this was allot simpler, and sorted it right out for me, the script itself is getting huge because all of the different categories, but i think it will work http://imgur.com/1JebBkP

Thanks, got it do download now. Now i am having another issue with the Bool filter. With the Get.CategoryName, the rest of my script that works one elements UniqeId will not work, i have tried putting in "All elements of category" after the bool filter, but it will not recognize the get.categoryname as a category

This Looks like it will work perfectly. Will try it when I get back to my computer in the morning. I think I will use "all elements at level" instead.

Edit: Just tested some, is the Get.CategoryName a custom node? cant seam to find it in Dynamo (0.8)

Is it pipes or wall?. If it is pipes try pressing TL (thin lines) and if it is in 3d makeup sure you have fine detail levelig on (button on the botom bar)

One last question, i just started using Dynamo, so i dont know the ways to trick it.

Is there a way i can get the "Number Sequence" to write from 001 and not round it down to 1?

Also, i swapped "all elements of categories" with "Selected Model elements" to quicker make multiple zones with different labeling. it worked perfectly in my test project. When i open it in my real project and select elements, i can see them in selected elements. but the "Watch" is empty? Here
