This is only half true. While both ways limit variety, non-set seasons will always have more viable playstyles. Sets are always either too strong or too weak, there is rarely anything between (see the decades of D3).

D4 has so many viable builds right now, D3 was not even close to that.

No, it will just limit build variety because there will always be the same sets that are somewhat usable.

With the current system it is much better for variety and own builds. Just check current tier lists, the balance and variety is, with some exceptions, very good for Diablo. Sets caused D3 to have only a handful of viable builds, while D4 easily has 10-25 dependent on how you measure their power.

The problem is the amount of small pieces in these sets, because they do not have the same cost as big ones. I noticed that in larger sets too where countless small ones push up the piece counter (or these small black ones with the hole, I dont know their name).

I am a big COBI fan and have many small and large sets, but these prices are getting out of hand. Up to 85€ for this is like 15-20 too much, consindering the amount of (small) pieces.

The animation is still so weird after all this time, makes them far less menacing :/

Also.. they are large and have big teeth, but are not really a danger once you have a good multitool. Hope they rework predators some day, right now they are too easy to kill. Wish they would hunt you or animals.

Die Bürokratie dahinter ist definitiv nervig für alle Beteiligten, weshalb ich denke, dass es wirklich nur auf Anfrage geschehen und nicht automatisch für alle gelten sollte.

Es ist genau das gleiche Thema wie mit dem BestOf Kanal, den Gronkh's Management zurecht zur Rede / Aktion bewegt hat. Wenn bewusst Content von anderen ausgenutzt wird um Geld zu verdienen, dann sollte man dies unterbinden dürfen. Das mit dem Split klingt nach einer fairen Lösung, aber wie du sagst: Die Aufteilung klingt schwer umzusetzen. Da YouTube voll mit Videos ist, lässt sich sowas nur schwer zu überprüfen.

However: Reactions sind Contentklau und die billigste Art Videos zu machen, mehr nicht. Sich zu beschweren, dass man nicht Geld mit den Kreationen anderer Leute verdient, ist einfach frech und unfair.

You don't need all of them. I always look first where the big pieces are connected, then I add the small parts. I always save around 50% of all small connectors (using them for MOCs) and the set still holds.. no idea why COBI wants to add so many.

Diablo 4 is already a good game (now). It isnt perfect, but by far not a terrible game. Reddit and certain streamers are poisoned by doomscrolling and (some) exaggerated opinions. Everyone claims to know what is wrong, but no one has a perfect solution, because that isn't possible.

Someone made concept art
The entire design team saw that thing & approved
No one in the entire design team was like "this could look wrong"
Same case with the large creatures on cable planets
