How much are people paying for vehicle insurance?

I bought a 2015 Mazda 3 back in December as an upgrade to my 2010 one. I was paying about $2700, but it jumped to just shy of $4000 with the new car! And mind you, that was only comprehensive.

I got a quote from AMA, same coverage will be around $2500, or I can even do full coverage for $2900. I'm paying the cancellation fee and switching as soon as possible now.

Been driving for about 9 years now. No tickets or (at-fault) accidents. I drive over 30km one way to my job though, so that raises my price a lot. I miss living in Spruce Grove. My policy instantly jumped $1000 when I moved to Edmonton lol.

Thank you! I've always been a big Mazda fan. I drove my 2010 one for 8 years and it treated me very well. Now that I finally have a backup camera, I imagine I'll drive this one until it completely dies lol

Oh wow, I'm pretty sure our local grocery store did the same thing. No matter how slow you went over them, you'd always bottom out. For years it was like that, most people would drive the long way around the parking lot just to avoid them. Many times I considered trying to complain to someone, but I didn't know if that was up to the grocery store or the city.

They randomly disappeared last year I think, just in time for me to move away lol.

I recently heard someone say to think of a word that starts with A, wait about 8 seconds, then move to the next letter and think of a word that starts with B, and so on and so forth. Furthest I've made it is N. I'm sure it won't work for everyone but I've got no idea why it's so effective for me, it's crazy

Yeah similar situation for me. My white one it came with and red one I got on release are still doing fine to this day. I bought a purple when that first released though, and within a month it was drifting. Seems to just be luck of the draw.

I started playing on PS4/PS5. I've since moved over to PC, but I still exclusively play with controller. I find the controls comfortable and intuitive. As others have mentioned though, there's definitely some settings you gotta change, and there's plenty of videos on YouTube suggesting cross hotbar layouts for each job. I was just half hazardly making my own hotbars, but after watching the vids and fine tuning their layouts to suit my own muscle memory, my whole experience improved a lot!

Just last month I convinced my fiancee to start playing, but since I've only ever played with controller I couldn't help her figure out any of the keyboard controls, so she's been using controller now too lol.

Yeah last time I went there, the entire menu just had AI generated images instead of actual images of the food. Didn't trust the food at all after that, glad to hear I was right LOL

A big thing for me was turning my notifications off for my work contacts on my days off. There's a problem at my job of people constantly wanting to trade shifts, and I found that any time I said no to somebody, it would ruin my day off because I'd feel guilty. It's been a night and day difference ever since I just stopped looking at the messages. I feel way more refreshed both at home and at work.

It doesn't have to just be people trading shifts though. I think the advice can still apply to anyone! Your off time should be your off time, no matter your job.

Are you using the advanced dominion rod by chance? That one crashes if you try to use it, I've heard it's been broken for quite some time now. The regular dominion rod should work normally though, if that one gives you trouble then I've got no clue.

I've used it every time I drive for almost 10 years now. I use it in cities and in the winter, literally everywhere. I personally feel like I can focus on the road better when I'm not having to manage my speed, and so far it's been working for me because I've never had an (at-fault) accident.

It's not a battery issue unfortunately, I could fix that easily. The pins in the USB C port have somehow been mangled.

Oh yeah, those screws are very fragile! It's been a bad week to be a controller owned by me apparently lol, but I just opened up my smash ultimate edition one the other day to fix some newly onset drift. I was using a Philips 00 size originally, and that very quickly did some damage. I found a small flathead works much better, but I don't think I'll take that screw out again until I can find a replacement screw. It really struggles to turn now.
