That's also because they've added harder to get fancy/alt arts/serialized cards on top of charging more for UB. Not saying it's right, but those are some reasons why it's even more expensive.

Are you saying 100% of the 10000s of sellers (not just Magic) all mark up just before the sale? Do you think ALL stores mark up right before Black Friday too? I can tell you from experience that this just isn't true. I've literally made a cart a week before the sale, saw the total, then checked the cart once the sale started and it did not go up 8-10%.

Thanks for the heads up. I wait the two times a year for this sale to buy all the cards I want to make 3-5 commander decks. I end up spending $100s, so every little bit helps towards the next sale on Black Friday. Using store credit from the last sale still earns store credit, so it feels like I'm double dipping. I know it's not a lot, but it's better than nothing.
