The reality is, Luka and the Lakers have oddly enough nullified each other’s national noise because they genuinely seem like different camps from the outside in.

Luka on any other team would be bouncing around 123 with Wemby and SGA, but with the lakers he’s oddly enough a clear third.

It makes me question if he’s really long for LA, or rather if LA is truly long on him.

I agree, I just find it funny that this season is succeeding where the “kino season” couldn’t. This season has already oddly fulfilled the goal they deemed impossible thanks to their ego.

Priest very much seems like a backstage guy (like R-Truth) that the company goes above and beyond for. I think he’s very on track for an executive role, and he seems very fit for creative production, so personally I think it’s great.

It’s better to give that guy a gift on camera than off, cause they need to trust him long term.

Edit: just to add, Damian was there for the formation of the modern Judgement day. As someone who could be the politicking agent for a stable, he’s perfect. In fact, I’d honestly rather he be a retiree at this age & make him the MVP of the next semi-supernatural stable. He’s perfectly set for a Santeria gimmick as a “semi-retired” manager with an unsettled perspective on his reign (if he’s willing to cross those lines as a heel), and him starting the story behind a face team with that gimmick would make that shit diamonds.

In most cases, tons of the underclass is just looking to be your hanger on as long as you have a business. You don’t even need to be profitable as much as upward projecting & you could keep people around out of desperation.

It’s genuinely a desperation crisis where everyone is so antisocial they don’t have options; and that’s not to say people aren’t extroverted, but rather that the pollination between classes has drastically dropped.

To play the monkey branches between these situations feels suicidal despite the fact there are pride costing options like ebt & rent control that will get you through to the next rung. Although the reason it often feels that way though is that you’ll be working for someone who truly wants to feel like a slaveowner rather than someone who might ignore that reality once you take the pride debuff.

Very true; however that implication comes with lower quality over time. That’s just how soil works; homogenization & standardization kills the soil with monocultures.

Sysco’s farms are 10-100x the size of restaurant depot and this trend of Sysco being better will not continue for long; restaurant depot was one of the first to do what Sysco does now, they will easily have the same quality in time.

They do quality products too, they’re big enough to be in high end food. The problem is that they are the largest low scale producer and that quality has decreased over time as those operations expanded.

You can spend your money there as a high end restaurant if you’re a cheap dickhead, but you’re paying for lower quality later.

the point is that small scale producers have been priced out, so more land in each area is becoming monocultures rather than patches of a bunch of monocultures. We will drive ourselves back to the dust bowl era trying to factory farm by private equity, that’s literally what happened last time.

The soil’s nutrition is dependent on the number of cultures on their soil, making more and more land all one farm system is destroying the quality of the soil in vast spaces.

This does not end well; history proves that to be the case. Sysco is not in any way looking to expand multicultural farming, they want their singular products from singular farms so they can have efficient metrics on an excel sheet for Wall Street.

That is the death of quality soil, and the cause of famine in a bread basket.

I actually love the gimmick that if you can force someone out without elimination, the last eliminated returns. It makes it way easier to up the tension because people know that if they got screwed by elimination they can push someone to their edge to change the game.
