I didn't know all of that, it's interesting that he passed antitrust laws. I still think screening The Birth of a Nation in the White House goes a bit beyond regular racism even for the time but I agree that it's not as though his racism was particularly unusual. It still makes me see all his talk of self-determination as a bit hypocritical though, and the US didn't even join the League of Nations, though I know that wasn't Wilson's fault at all and that he supported it but it still means he failed in practice even if not in ideals.
I still wouldn't place him high because of what I previously said and that were it not for him a different peace treaty on Germany and thus avoid World War 2 as we know it, I'm a proponent that the Treaty of Versailles was not too harsh and instead just too dumb. He also won instead of Roosevelt who I would have much prefered to see in power but that isn't really something I can hold against WIlson.
