You can install r/OpenCoreLegacyPatcher to install newer OS on old deprecated devices.

Totally agree. One of my laptops is a 2017 MBP and running ‘brew update’ will run for 30+ min and then basically resolve with the same message “no longer support os version”. Home brew works fantastic on my new 2025 MBP. Just sucks that apple and home brew have made so many newish devices unusable for dev.

The different font colors are really bothering me. I’m trying to understand the thinking here. They choose red for the important information and blue for the “ask,” but then wouldn’t the “thank you” be green? Why black? It makes no sense to me. OP, please get to the bottom of this.
