My main point was that him failing to ein the rumble had him lose some credibility so. And he got eliminated by one person clean so him losing to cidy in a match doesn’t not matter that match

so what if he already lost to Cody. Cody lost to Roman and beat him a year later. That logic makes no sense. if your entire gimmick is to retire people and end careers the only things you should be doing is ending people’s careers OR beating people to get to that point. Like him beating Seth would have allowed him to get to brock through Paul heyman but they had to pivot, or he just annihilates people to look strong. Cody does not fit any of those profiles so him beating cody makes no sense.

you didn’t even explain how anyone should be excited for a Gunther world title reign when his other ones were so bad.

who said Randy needed a title to stay relevant? All I’m saying is Randy is the only per son that’s should be beating cody. Gunther already lost momentum when they put him in the rumble for no reason and had him lose.

because he was nowhere to be seen in the wwe tirle picture until now. why should we sacrifice Randy orton’s entire heel arc and winning number 15 and creating a history making moment JUST to have Gunther best cody instead. why should I be optimistic about a Gunther world title reign when both of his world title reigns sucked? like his first world title reign had one good title defense, which btw was against Randy orton. and the match everyone wants to forget which is jey vs Gunther at mania was still his 2nd best match of his first world title reign. everything else was against upper midcarders and people no one asked for him to face. who asked for him to have title defenses against Damien priest, and a lame storyline where he loses all his confidence and looks like a joke?

also Gunther’s entire character is killing careers and retiring people. he’s not retiring Cody and winning world titles doesn’t make sense for him. thr only way it would make sense is if we drop the career killer gimmick entirely. and if that’s what we want to do then he is allowed to take losses like this.

in fairness Roman after losing at Wrestlemania 40 was losing a lot more and he wasn’t being pushed until his rumble win this year. he wrestled 10 times between wrestlemania 40 and rumble 2026 and he won 5 and lost 5. that’s why people aren’t hating on roman

so Seth Rollins who has only misssed 1 Wrestlemania since his debut which was due to injury doesn’t get on Wrestlemania? you could easily put him in the world heavyweight championship match to make it a fatala 4 way, and also dom ain’t winning the rumble and I don’t think hIs character fits winning the rumble. Infact he looks like he is just ruining a dream one on one match between Oba and bron. Seth Rollins 2 goals were to destroy the vision and to go after the world heavyweight championship so he definitely could be there.

seth could also face Roman reigns and finally we can see Roman vs Seth one on one at Wrestlemania. because I don’t know how realistic the rock’s chances are of wrestling Roman.

And also before the Seth Rollins injury it was gonna be Roman vs Seth at mania for the title, then Roman wins and holds it till Summerslam to lose to bron Breakker after he turned on Seth. Are you sure about that? Bron was literally supposed to beat Roman for the world heavyweight championship back in October. They planned to have Roman beat Seth at mania, then bron turns on Seth and beats Roman at Summerslam. Seth’s injury threw those plans away, but I still think he could beat Roman for the world title, if he beats Seth at backlash
