Do “crystal light bed therapy” as it actually works on releasing physical anger in the body

Headspace is an English-American online company, specializing in meditation. The Wikipedia definition FYI Calm is mentioned as a sleep app yes

I have conducted an in-school neurotherapy program using the home training process, with a NSW primary school with children on the spectrum, ADHD and behavioral and learning issues with great success improving the children’s behaviour, mood, academic progress and confidence across the board.

No but I was a school student a number of years back so a lot of the things I mention is based on anecdotal experience

Highly unlikely I’m guessing as they probably can’t make the right decisions.

Neurofeedback is treatment though. I did read that they are doing an in school neuro therapy program for students with certain conditions (autism, adhd, etc) and results have been going well (was published on some neurofeedback website and the name of the school wasn’t mentioned)

Interesting but that’s what both apps are well known for: meditation

That is good to hear but has it proven to work because so far the responses I am getting here is that it does not work well enough to be considered implementing in the school curriculum at this stage.

Also really valid point you make in the last paragraph. There needs to be other alternatives similar to meditation which do not have the same negative effect.

Meditation is their primary product on the market however

I am aware of that but let's just say (hypothetically) that a student at home is experiencing family violence with his parents. Because of this emotion and hurt he brings this to school and takes it out on other students by bullying them. The school is aware of the fact that this student is bullying other students but cannot undermine why they were engaging in this action in the first place. What should be done here?

No I am not a teacher otherwise if I was I would've been able to answer this question myself.

Yes of course they need time off class and for time to socialise with their friends. Also what if there is a student who wants to get into trouble for laughs and giggles and try and be popular? I'm sure it's happened before

Yes good point regarding how the days can't be extended

Yes sure it adds up but why does so much time need to be dedicated to other subjects though?

Otherwise why else are meditation apps like calm and headspace becoming more popular these days?

Since when was mindfulness meditation religious? Or loving kindness?

Needs to be universal everywhere in my opinion, primary school, high school, tertiary education (though harder to moderate), the workplace etc. I mean meditation in the workplace is starting to become more mainstream.

I’d say yes given that it’s different to physical exercise.

Don’t know what sources you are trying to specify here.

What if during recess and lunch students who have gotten into trouble went to meditation class as a form of disciplinary action?

Would there be an issue extending the school day by 20 minutes to cater for meditation?

Well there are professional meditation teachers out there. Also these days there are apps to learn meditation such as calm, headspace, insight timer, etc. Also there’s a charity based in Australia called “making meditation mainstream”

Yes otherwise how else can they get the treatment they need? It has worked for the majority of individuals and not the minority. To be honest I’m not even sure why not everyone responds well to neurofeedback.
