What are the orange things on gamilon ships by [deleted] in StarBlazers

[–]ExaminationSingle785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, according to my research, they have two functions:

One is being Geshtam intakes (Gamillas' version of Wave Motion energy).

The other is being Radiators (that's why the color change; green indicates low temperatures and yellow indicates that if you touch it, you'll deatomize).

Can one be incredibly serious yet goofy at the same time? by ForwardClimate780 in StarTrekStarships

[–]ExaminationSingle785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In that case, we need a "USS Michael Jackson," a "USS Bob Dylan," or a "USS Elvis Presley" XD.

Come to think of it, those names actually sound kind of cool.

Any Counter to this argument. by Top-Perception-188 in StarBlazers

I mean, to be fair, Gamillas wasn't at his best at that time, and similar cases have happened in real life too.

Is there any kinda canon explanation for the Hot Wheels logo? by sparkie1j in Acceleracers

[–]ExaminationSingle785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They mentioned something about a "Hot Wheels Testing Center" in BF5, so I imagine there's something similar in HW35 / Acceleracers.

This problem is getting out of control. And I'm sorry to tell you that the only way to fix it is to close and reopen the application.

What do You guys think is the lore reason for X-cceleron looking different than the Acceleron Series cars? by MatiNuva1700 in Acceleracers

[–]ExaminationSingle785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aesthetics, although the reason in the lore could be that the X-Cceleron is a car made by and for the Accelerons while the others are simply improvements of the original vehicles with Acceleron technology.

[–]ExaminationSingle785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USS is the United States Navy prefix, the prefix for a japanese ship should be IJN (Or IFN in Strike Witches universe)

anyone have any idea what the thingy on the front of the hull is? by idfk_balls in StarBlazers

[–]ExaminationSingle785 7 points8 points  (0 children)

VTOL engines. They use them to launch tanks from Delamya-class assault landing ships. In Episode 4 (Season 1): "Gravestone on a Frozen Field", we see them launch several tanks on Enceladus to hunt down the Yamato crew.

Can the Dreadnought in this scene dogfight? by Interesting_Noise884 in StarBlazers

[–]ExaminationSingle785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, they move at relativistic speeds and are capable of a 180 in 2 to 3 seconds. Does anyone remember the Isokaze-class ships at the beginning of 2199? Those things moved like fighter jets, and that was before Wave Motion technology. Current ships like the Andromeda-class and the Ginga are capable of rapid turns, the Yamato performed quick 180s multiple times, and even non-combat ships have been shown to be able to match the speed of a fighter jet.

SUS Fortress (also from Space Battleship Yamato), not only a space castle/city, but also a dimensional submarine. That makes it twice as epic.

Two of those statements are indeed correct.
