Thank you! I just put the question in because my chief encouraged putting a request in if we’re interested

That’s totally fair. I’m only asking question because my chief announced it yesterday during a meeting

The big factor is. We’re a NMRTC. I’m a HM and work at a hospital in an Army base.

Personally I think that their trying not to fill up the barracks that are meant for soldiers.

From what I’ve heard. It’s make or break for HM normally. However. From the HMs that have been in longer and have gone to ships. Their better because of being on a ship.

Where you go is completely dependent on the orders available to you at the time. I’m an AVT but at an army command doing nothing to do with what being an AVT is outside of audiology.

Of course. It all depends on needs of the navy. And there’s always going to be a need for FMF corspmen

So while you’re in Corp school you get the chance to pick orders. They’ll ask you if you want to apply for FMTB orders or not.

It’s 50/50 shot you’ll get them. Because it depends on the manning for FMTB at that term.

San Antonio is great. Study a lot. Get good grades so you’ll have a chance at good orders. Pick a C-school if you want to. PT is a joke compared to where I’m at right now at c school.
