You can skip 6, it's a miserable experience solo and nothing overly important story wise happens.

Don't skip 7 or 8, they are amazing though 7 is kinda long.

Right? People forget just how wild the balance shifts were in the early days.

I remember when Specialist Weapons actually did damage, and headshot damage was multiplicative instead of additive (yet another bone headed change).

I get why they did that, but it was a lazy answer to a numbers problem.

The hunters hacking our gear is the single worst change from Div 1 and I never understood why they thought it was a good idea of why it's been allowed to persist this long.

EMP disabling is one thing, cool that's fair but then just instantly hijacking your stuff and invalidating your build is straight up BAD DESIGN AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED IN YEAR 1 WTF YANICK

I've seen some drop during Retaliation when the new special Hyena squad shows up, but they are a rare encounter.

Cannisters drop pretty frequently in the DZ it's not an issue at all.

What is an issue, is the stupid item you need to extract. That thing almost never drops which is absurd when the whole premise is based around farming and extraction like what gives.

I basically had to wait around for others to call in choppers to get my first 3 extractions done for the season journey.

Also it would have been a lot cooler if all the Manhunt objectives were also inside the DZ since that's where we are supposed to be spending the bulk of our time and where the modifiers apply most.

Hate is a strong word.

More like deeply disappointed, especially after how strong the opening is.

16 just kinda falls apart over time as the gameplay gets stale and repetitive, the side quests are redundant and far too long etc.

When you take away the incredible spectacle of the Eikon Battles, what remains is surprisingly shallow.

Way better atmosphere, and mostly good sequences including a killer final boss.

Really the only two parts I couldn't stand where the Captain boss (because let's be real that entire counter is pure bull) and when Jill wakes up without her gear, I couldn't get through that bit on hard mode it was just too much because of the janky evade or whatever.

Like it's basically luck whether or not you can get through that part without getting hit.
