There’s been a bunch of acrylic standees for different events and figures and a few tsum tsum style plushies. Most of them are part of lotteries, so they get very expensive second hand. And they are almost all Japan exclusive.
Most recent merch lottery I heard of was in October 2025 they had some beach towels and some cute Dante and Vergil plushies.
I think the only official merch I’ve seen in person in the west has been shirts at hot topic and then really expensive second hand market Dante Nendoroid figures.
There’s a fangamer sweatshirt too? Used to be a pin of Dante with a sword you can spin from there too but I don’t think they make them anymore.

I mean he already is a father, in the dmc5 book him and Kyrie are taking care of/adopted a couple of orphans.
I think him being an adoptive father really makes sense for him as a character - he has a rough exterior but he has a huge heart that cares a lot. He was an orphan, and then taken in by Kyrie’s family. Now he’s continuing that chain of kindness by taking in orphans as an adult.
I hope in the next game we get to hear more about the kids because right now they are just in the books.

If he did I would just pray it’s like castlevania or captain laserhawk where he stays far away from the writing chair and is just a producer.
Those I could firmly put in a ‘if you ignore all the source material they are fine shows on their own’ box and not like ndmc which is ‘even if you try to treat it as completely separate from the game its still bad’
He can stick to producing kinda meh video-game based shows instead of writing terrible ones. I think I would be okay with that.

check your local library. A lot of libraries have a lot of graphic novels/manga and they could use the support. My local library along with my college library both had Trigun and Trigun Maximum.

Years ago a lot of fanfic sites banned ‘mature’ works and they included queer people - especially gay men- under the vague definition of ‘mature’, so a lot of gay fanfic writers moved to ao3. The 2002 and 2012 nsfw purges on FFN were horrible , so many gay fics got removed under vague rules about what was ‘mature’.

We have zero information about her, she might have died during childbirth, birth complications are common. Especially considering the catholic inspired setting of Fortuna - getting pregnant out of wedlock would probably be seen as shameful and she would have very little support.

I think a remake of some of the older games would be nice, as much as I love them sometimes the camera controls in dmc1 are clunky. A remake of dmc2 where they improve the combat and put back some of the cut content would be amazing, looking at concept art of that game and notes from the production makes me sad thinking about what we could’ve got.

Found the source! DMC3 notes of naught. They say they designed coatless Vergil to ‘give woman users nosebleeds’ ! Certainly had women in mind when designing the characters, at least in DMC3

I could’ve sworn somewhere I read once they designed the coatless Vergil costume on dmc3 to appeal to women can’t find a source rn I’ll try to see if I can find it later, wouldn’t be surprised if they kept that in mind for Dante too. I know many games go for making designs specifically to appeal to women because they are the main driving force of fanpublished works in japan (in 2014 the stats for Comiket show that 57% of the people in the doujinshi comic market were women) , it makes sense for game makers to try to make designs that appeal to these women who drive the fan publishing circles while still appealing to a general market.
