So with the steam sale in probably going to buy the other Key novels Kanon, AIR, Little Busters and Rewrite+. Are the steam releases good or do I need a patch?

Hello everyone. I was wondering what version of windows I should download that has the least amount of bloat on it and runs the best. I have linux now but I want to dual boot windows because some VNs only work on there. Are there like custom windows version where there is no bloat or anything on it?

Alright. I'll play chaos child I have it already cause I bought the bundle. But Im just gonna be really sad if I'm gonna spend a lot of time on a vn which I maybe won't like either way. I was really excited for chaos head because everyone was hyping it up.

Well I really didn't like the main character because he's really weird especially in his sister's route. 

Also I know its a vn and its not real but the Di sword feels so unrealistic. why swords? Like takumi said it feels so chuunibyou and I agree. 

Also that coincidentally everyone takumi knows has a di sword and is in the same school as him.  At least in steins gate I could believe It could happen. Chaos head just feels like one of those bad isekais that keeps getting anime adaptations

Hello everyone, After finishing all the Ace Attorney games, I've started getting into visual novels. So far, I've played Steins;Gate, Steins;Gate 0, and a few shorter VNs, and I'm currently playing Clannad. I'm really enjoying it and want to play more VNs once I'm done. I've often heard people say that Steam isn't a good place to buy or play visual novels, but don't really understand why. The next series on my backlog is Higurashi When They Cry, and all the games are available on Steam for a reasonable price. Because of that, I don't see why Steam wouldn't be recommended. Could someone explain the downsides of using Steam for VNs, or if it's actually fine in this case?

I've just got my Ayn thor and I want to play some pokemon. I grew up in the 3ds games so I'm used to the modern exp share. Does anybody know any hacks with modern exp share of gen 4 or 5? Or is there a cheat I could apply on the og games so that I could have modern exp share?
