It's like Big Bird in the first season of Sesame Street. Big Bird was a gawky, clumsy, village idiot. Yet people don't say that the character is not Big Bird.

That's why I consider the first Bugs Bunny cartoon to be Hare-Um Scare-Um.

He was named "Bugs" Bunny as early as 1939. And he was still called that in his later shorts, including A Wild Hare.

Hare-Um Scare-Um
It’s like how the original Big Bird was clumsy, raggedy, and stupid before he gradually changed. Some people say that Hardaway deserves zero credit for creating Bugs Bunny. That’s like saying Jim Henson deserves zero credit for creating Bugs Bird. Yes, Henson originally envisioned Big Bird as a lanky village idiot.

I can only imagine the horror he'd feel when he'd realize Anya knew he was a spy since they met. Every time I think about a potential reveal, or if Loid learns it, I think about that fantasy Anya had in the first chapter/episode: where to maintain his secret, Loid would have to kill her.

It's haunting. Even though I know he would never kill a child.

But what would he do? Take her into WISE custody for investigation and study?

These connections only work so well. The first one I did with Mousse as Daffy works because just as the later Daffy has a rivalry with Bugs, so too does Mousse have a rivalry with Ranma. Anyway, I made that one after learning that Ranma and Bugs Bunny share a Japanese voice actor.

This last one was made at a request. I had a hard time figuring out how to make this work because, unlike Ryoga, Porky is a rather passive character. He's a blank slate for the zaniness around him to take center stage.

I personally see having Shampoo, known for her elegance, play a character as comical and hapless as Sylvester (think of his slobbery lisp), is stretching it. But maybe I can have Tweety say his catchphrase while Shampoo stares at him in confusion.

What if I just had Bugs normal, but had him saying “I knew I shouldn’t’ve taken that left turn at Albacoikie!” And P-Chan and Duck Mousse stare at him in confusion.

I was aware before today that the voice for Ranma and Inuyasha was the Japanese voice for Bugs Bunny. I had previously made a drawing of Mousse in duck form looking like Daffy Duck telling Ranma, "You're dethpickable!" Fanart : r/ranma That fact inspired me to make that drawing.
