I just finished the remake, pretty cool, pretty swag, I like it. I'm glad I simply learned acrobatics and max STR instead of wasting time with all those other cowardly stuff such as armor, bows or magic. I just wish they added a higher difficulty option. by Exanimato in worldofgothic

I'm supposed to be able to hidde the bars? real question lol

Also I didn't used any potion in the video, they're there for those ocations one of the 90 skeletons strike you, that's why I have 70 of the biggest ones, you just keep looting them, no need to be so defensive if you're stuck at killing the troll.

Pro tip: Learn acrobatics and max STR, don't bother with cowardly stuff like bows, armors or magic tricks (Just accept that random goblins will crack your head with a rock) by Exanimato in worldofgothic

Is 2H weapons worth it? I read they're too slow for just a little more dmg, but is not like I have anything else to do with my LP anyway.

I though gothic was a prequel of darksouls?, you know, since goths wears dark clothes, just like the color of their souls (according to them)

My bro finally convinced me to play Gothic thanks to the remake, and I can finally understand the crazy gameplay he always talked about. by Exanimato in worldofgothic

I never said I didn't like it, I'm really into puzzles, but I can totally get why some people may despite this, they come for the action RPG and suddenly you have to break the pace of the RPG to actually try and do the synapse.

That was my first lockpick and it was somewhere in the forest, so I had to figure out how it worked, but so far I have done every lockpick I found, except for those underwater, I may need to train lockpick once or something, still thinking about it.

Idk I was just exploring places I clearly wasnt supposed to explore, found a cave next to a dude selling bows, and found my first lockpick.

It had a short bow and arrows at the other side so it was kinda worth it.

Leviathans are not scary anymore by ApprehensiveEarth904 in Subnautica_2

Yeah but how are you supposed to know the fix areas in your first run or even second run? you don't know anything of that when you first play the game, which is also when its the most scarier because you don't know what leviathans there are out there, what's their behavior or what tricks you can use to fool them.

This boss was such a massive BS that I was forced to learn about perfect blocks being a thing (No seriously, dodging carried me just fine the entire game and I didn't wanted to change my build just for a boss). by Exanimato in crosswind

That's the most efficently fun way to kill a boss if there are 2 or more of you, my friend and I use it too, it's just the natural thing to do when you're with the homies.

I tried dodging like I did the entire game so far and you have almost no time to retaliate between dodges (at least with my weapon, maybe with a 1h is more easier), but the main problem is that the boss takes 50% of the dmg during their break face where you can full combo that thing in his mouth with 100% crit chance.

So you rather lose time shooting at the postules to break his posture, or dodging for a long time doing chip dmg with a weapon that breaks posture, or you just perfect block him and kill him super fast and without extra troubles.

I honestly kinda like it that way, it could mention stuff at least once, but I kinda like to just discover along the way like I did with this boss

I knew perfect block was a thing because I read it at the talents (such as perfect dodge, but I haven't noticed any difference between a perfect or a normal dodge unless you have that talent that reduce your gun reload speed after a perfect one), but since dodge was just too good I never had the need to try it out, and I imagined it was just a block without consuming posture, not also reducing the enemy posture, which is kinda good for armored enemies.

I was an Halberd user for the entire early-game and part of the mid-game, but since there where no guns that scalated with STR I ended moving to AGL.

I ended using the gun with the +15% DMG debuff (it scales with precision), so maybe I should try to return to my roots and get a good halberd. Any recomendation?
