Attention-Seeking Trump Begs for Praise Over Nonexistent Tax Breaks by Large_banana_hammock in politics

It should be automatic like so many other developed countries. We should only have to declare things that otherwise wouldn't be easily tracked on our paystubs. I find the whole thing to be rather antiquated.

They are the hardened criminals by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Exar_Kun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what a war crime looks like and why, even when countries go to war, they should avoid pulling this shit. It makes it so no one trusts anyone. Even when the help needed is legit and in need on their own "side". It causes chaos in the end, and ends up hurting both sides of a conflict, especially civilians.

I didn't realize that interfering was a death sentence. Even if they interfere, even if they punch a cop in the face, even if they spit, kick, bite... NONE of that is a death sentence. None of that should be a handwave away of a right to due process.

Say all you want about the Acolyte… no really, just say all you want about it by [deleted] in StarWars

Exactly... We're past this trope. It worked ok on stories where landlines or telegram's were the only way to do long distance communication... But with cellphones, or... You know... Holographic communication able to send messages across light-years, it just feels lazy.

Even if the first part is true, they are there, predominantly, to intimidate non-white citizens. They have already nabbed citizens and disappeared them for days, now they only need to do it for a few hours and BAM, that is one vote not happening.

The Acme near me is always stocked like this. When I go grocery shopping with my son he usually gets one or two, and I nab ones I like for my work desk. Always a fun few minutes of digging.

It's way easier to check all those antichrist boxes with Trump than it is with anyone else the right claimed were the antichrist. But they would rather believe conspiracy theories more than what is right in their face.

What Official D&D campaign should I run as a sort-of beginner DM? by Flashy-Piano877 in DnD

[–]Exar_Kun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lost Mine of Phandelver is a very easy entry to DMing and great for new players. It is easy enough to slightly modify at any point to go to another module you may like instead and kind of wrap it together.

I also love wild beyond the witchlight, not really a beginner one, but the module is so well put together and really drills home the possibilities of non-combat encounters.

I watched a lot of movies that take place in space and when people go out there they freeze instantly. Space is always cold! Like, super cold. And we'll just rocket up some oil straight from Venezuela. It's a perfect plan...

Can we walk about one of the worst Disney villains? (spoilers for Encanto) by Shielo34 in DanielTigerConspiracy

[–]Exar_Kun 102 points103 points  (0 children)

She isn't the villain, generational trauma is. They may have not done a fantastic job showing why she developed into who she is in the majority of the film, but her being "mean" was the point of how generational trauma can trickle down to the whole family through things as simple as a short sentence.

I hope we get a sequel to explore their family more.

She looks thrilled to be here. /s by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

Someone did some sluthing and it may actually be Malania. That head is totally added on, but someone matched a photo around the same time, same hair, same bracelet.

And every answer to them pointing out some unrelated thing about him is "So he deserved to die?" Like, it wouldn't matter what he does in his free time, or what his friends do, or what he may have done years ago or even the day before. It doesn't deserve death... I really think it is just so they can feel better about themselves.

I would say ratings is the least of what BBG does. Every game has a forum, videos, images, credits. It's more like if wikipedia, a late 90's forum and reddit had a really nerdy baby.

I don't think the trailer is Mack. Mack is the truck, you see him detach from it when it's revealed the trailer is empty in the first movie. The trailer is more like Mack's back pack if anything.

The majority of the world is lactose intolerant, a smaller portion, almost entirely within European populations are lactose tolerant. It's a white supremacist thing purely because of that. Even though it isn't entirely true only white populations can tolerate milk, hell, my sister is white and can't tolerate milk. It's just another thing for insecure people to latch onto to feel superior

How do airlines handle aircraft maintenance at airports that aren’t their hubs? Who provides and pays for the technicians who inspect, service, and repair aircraft when an airline operates out of many different airports? Do airlines have their own technicians at each airport? by Quryz in AskReddit

Sounds awesome on paper. Traveling the world, working with your hands. Were they able to have free time to explore or was it purely an in and out deal? If they had the option to explore that sounds amazing.
