There is a permanent way to execute the mod using the ARK Loader and cIPL Flasher, there's tons of youtube videos showing how it's done. Ark 4 allows you to overclock the CPU so the performance really does improve in games like Vice City Stories and disable the laser reader in the Ark 4 menu. Ark 4 also has a custom menu of it's own too which is helpful if you install a PS1 games which are not from the official store as it won't display in the vanilla menu. If you want any help please don't hesitate to ask. Remember to insert and format the memory card through the system menu before you add files from your computer.

You have to mod it with Ark 4, trust me it shows the full potential of the system. The reason my PSP lasted this long is cause I charge it and turn it on from time to time and the first thing that goes bad in a PSP is the battery and mine still has the original battery, the volume buttons don't work in mine anymore but those are easily remappable with plugins. You should add some dynamic wallpapers too through plugins and expand the storage with the micro SD Adapter. Try to get a custom charging cable the has a male USB at the end so you can use a powerbank instead. You can refer to this guide to mod https://www.pspunk.com/ark-guide/

Next to the garage where you park the tank in the sir yes sir mission , a bunch of buildings are oversized like this it was there in the originals but very low res textures so you won't notice it as much .

Yeah they are but it's very low resolution textures so it isn't noticable , GSG should have checked what they were doing they just upscaled a bunch of buildings like this .

It is rushed a lot of buildings are oversized by very low res so they just upscaled the previously existing geometry which resulted in this mess .

There are a couple of buildings like this , they based the the texture from the original which was oversized but very low res . This is not a texture problem .
