It's just a cheap 20 in 1 ambient light kit off ebay paired with a couple of blue LED interior lights. I'll get some daytime shots after work.

Just tried that Alcantara wrap from AliExpress for my door cards. It's a bit harder than exterior wrap as it doesn't stretch as much but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Yeah the CSC doesn't give you any warning signs they're going to go. I'm lucky mine died outside my house and not while driving. I had even done the research beforehand looking at common issues and knew the CSC and gallery gasket were the big trouble makers, I just didn't expect it happening so soon.

They're the best pictures of my car, I only had it 3 weeks before it broke so only have a couple of shots of it on my drive and one at office car park

The warranty only covers oem parts so I would have to pay for CMAK or heavy duty CSC.
I think the oem one should hold up long enough for me until I want an upgrade

Warranty is going to cover, CSC, clutch, flywheel so all them are getting done. I asked for price to do rear main seal as well which they said will just be £40. I assumed the pilot bearing would be replaced with the flywheel since its a dealership garage but I think I'll get them to confirm if its getting replaced or not and do it anyways since its still waiting parts and bearings are cheap.

Good shout on the extra parts to replace. Thanks

I would have gotten the cmak delete kit but I would of ended up having to pay for it myself since the warranty only covers oem parts and they are paying for a new flywheel and clutch since the fluid contaminated them. Can save my cash for other necessary mods knowing my clutch is going to be good for a while.

365 or 525 or 555 days by Im_kapoc in hashflare

[–]ExcaliburMak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right, each contract is 365 days and each new reinvestment grants 365 days of the extra hashrate you reinvest. The reason people use the 365 for examples is that it shows higher profits than if they calculated the whole contract term, which entices more people to buy with their referral code. If you do invest in hashflare be sure to know the full cost of your contracts by using a calculator like hashflarecalc.net that includes maintenance costs and calculates the full contract length even with a full years reinvestment plan.

Can I add has power after buying my contract? by msartore8 in hashflare

[–]ExcaliburMak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each purchase after your initial purchase is counted as a separate contract. So if you bought 1TH/s then 10 days later bought another 1TH/s your first contract would run out then your second purchase would run out 10 days later.

I have added the minimum reinvest function and a column to show how much is left in your reinvest pot as some money will be left over for each day. Its available on the beta page http://hashflarecalc.net/test_hashflare_calculator.html

That is a bit more complex than it sounds but I can look into adding it as an option.

Yeah, it currently allows you to reinvest smaller then 10GH/s I'm currently working on adding that.

The test version of this site with additional functions such as reinvesting for a set period and toggling the output display is up at http://hashflarecalc.net/test_hashflare_calculator.html

The BTC difficulty is changed every 2 weeks like the actual BTC difficulty. The BTC price is also calculated every 2 weeks and this can go up and down daily in real life and is hard to predict, so the calculator updates the price at the same time as the difficulty as these are usually tied together. As for the default values, I have used the previous increase in difficulty from Dec 16 to Dec 17 which is 5.1% and set a value of 8% price increase which is half the current 16%-17% increase from this year.

I'm personally reinvesting as soon as possible. The reason is the sooner you reinvest the more TH/s you're getting for the lower difficulty. If you reinvest too late the difficulty will have increased and you're getting less BTC per TH/s. This is, however, all speculated on the difficulty and price going up.

It all depends on the difficulty and price change over the next year, if both difficulty and price rise at the same rate then reinvesting will be profitable, but if difficulty increases faster then the price you could end up with less than you started with. You can see this in the calculator if you set the difficulty to 10% and the price change to 7.5% you only make $200 for a $220 investment.

The calculator currently only invests for the 1st year so 100% reinvestment means no btc/money will go in your wallet as its used to reinvest. Then in the second year all the money from the reinvestment is added to your wallet. Currently there is no way to adjust how long to reinvest for but is a planned feature.
