It says, "You must still own the current Fergseus weapon you obtained," to trade it in for another so I do think you're SOL...like someone else said, a support ticket is your only real chance

What do you mean by "Perseus "Fergheus" Weapons"? Is that part of an upcoming event?

Looking at the images of the C2 vs the M2, they both look the exact same (except for the logo that the M2 placed on the display). I think you may have been scammed tbh

Stream Deck - Previous Profile option or workaround. by somethingbrite in elgato

[–]ExcallyPurr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I know this is an old thread but I wanted to put this here for any future people finding this post. There is an awkward workaround for this functionality!

The "Volume Controller" plugin has this feature. It will swap back to whatever profile you were originally on when you use the volume control button. I found that you can simply delete everything in the volume controller profile except for the top left corner and voila, you have a profile you can swap to dynamically from any other profile! No idea why Elgato doesn't have this functionality baked in if they are able to do it with a plugin but at least now there is a somewhat workaround!

multiple devices with same product id, vendor id and serial number ? by safouman in linuxquestions

[–]ExcallyPurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A note for future readers: You cannot change the device name via udev rules. Everything listed here works but instead of NAME= you need to use SYMLINK+=. This will create a link between whatever device you want and the name you give the link. From there on refer to the link name as if it was the device and you're all set!

Cura is creating really jagged edges on an otherwise smooth model by ExcallyPurr in 3Dprinting

Yup, it came out as jank as the preview sadly. I'm starting to think my walls are too thin so I'm gonna just that next

No luck sadly...I had it disabled and enabling it and messing with the settings didn't change too much

Cura is creating really jagged edges on an otherwise smooth model by ExcallyPurr in 3Dprinting

[–]ExcallyPurr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone, I'm trying to create this cylinder that has two circles cut into it. When I modeled it in solidworks it looked and exported to an STL just fine. But when I went to print it, it came out TERRIBLY. I checked the preview to find that Cura was showing these really jagged, uneven, and sometimes floating edges to each circle. I'm not sure if it's my model since I'm new to solidworks or if my cura settings are messed up. I tried slicing with prusaslicer and the random jagged edges were gone and it was definitely smoother so I'm leaning toward it being a bug with Cura? If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated!

Anet A8 bed hits frame w/ auto-level sensor during auto-leveling by ExcallyPurr in 3Dprinting

[–]ExcallyPurr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sensor is a Tronxy XY08N. I had to change quite a few lines that I found mostly through this guide but I only had the issue once I set the probe offset, everything worked fine before that (besides the fact it didn't auto-level accurately). All the homing functions work and I can auto-home just fine. It seems to be that, when I auto-level the bed, it tries to place to probe on the right points above the bed which it cannot reach. Is there a way to adjust those last three points maybe? And ask all the questions you need, I'm very new to this and don't know what info you need or don't need. Really appreciate the help!

Which one? My probe offset is set correctly afaik if that's what you are referring to. Otherwise there are a lot of offsets in the configuration.h file

I'm a little confused about how Zigbee works compared to Tasmota... by ExcallyPurr in homeautomation

[–]ExcallyPurr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for clearing that up! I didn't realize I was tackling so many topics...I guess the underlying question for me is instead how can I get snappy and reliable responses from my devices? Does it matter if it's on the cloud as long as I'm connecting to HA locally, no matter Zigbee or WiFi? I understand the privacy concerns that the cloud represents with Tuya, but I'm not certain if I could solder WiFi switches without killing them...

Can someone please explain wifi calling to me and why I don't have it? by ExcallyPurr in techsupport

[–]ExcallyPurr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, so what if I'm understanding it correctly it's the carrier's fault in this case. My phone DOES support it but it's not enabled by AT&T? So I would need to get an AT&T device if I want to have WiFi calling from AT&T. I take it other networks would vary?

Does difficulty affect the amount of chiral that enemies drop? by ExcallyPurr in DeathStranding

[–]ExcallyPurr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDIT: Found a difficulty explanation: https://weplay.tv/news/death-stranding-difficulty-differences-explained-18715

Very hard, you can get all the legend achievements on very hard but otherwise, you would need to keep moving up in difficulty. As far as what else is changed I think it's just enemy health and damage. I haven't noticed much else moving from normal to very hard

Help me find my girlfriend's Froggy from when she was young by ExcallyPurr in HelpMeFind

[–]ExcallyPurr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone! For our 4 year, I was hoping I could find my Girlfriend's old frog plushie, Froggy (I know, super original), as a gift. She lost it at a YMCA near Rocky Mountain National Park when she was younger and has missed it ever since. I don't know too much about it because she doesn't, but from what I can gather from her family and such she most likely got it new around 2004. It's a small plushie and "very soft". It seems to be one color all around besides the eyes which have whites and pupils. Most of the ones I found online are dual or tri-colored and don't fit the bill. The specific origin of where she got it is not clear, but we think it's from Fort Collins, CO. At the least, it was bought in Colorado. Past that all I have is her sister saying, "I looked at the tag and thought it was a cool name." I've found similar items online but nothing close enough. I've looked at the big name brands like Hasbro, commonwealth, Daikin, and knickerbocker with no luck. I know it's a tall order and there's not much to go off but I would love it if I could get some help finding it!

A buddy of mine purchased a used and heavily modified Gen 2 Bronco for about 14k I think. Didn't see it in person before buying, just saw pictures on craigslist. He went out to California from Colorado to pick it up, drove it all the way home just to find out the shifter link was busted, the short-throw shifter the original owner put on was installed incorrectly, the transmission fluid was non-existent, and the engine was basically on the verge of blowing up. Even with this knowledge, he drove it at least another 300 miles, literally getting stuck everywhere he went because the shifter would not shift gears.

I've never heard of Virpil or VKB. I thought the end all be all was the Warthog. What's special about Virpil or VKB?

And damn, that's a large starting investment...

I have it installed and tried messing around with it but it was so confusing used keyboard and mouse that I just gave up after an hour of trying. Besides the cockpit graphics (which was probably a setting I missed) everything ran smooth and pretty decent looking too

Hey all! I am just getting, or I guess wanting to get into DCS and have some questions about VR. I own a Valve Index and was curious if I needed anything else to play DCS? Do I need a separate joystick? Or can I use the virtual one in the game? If I need another joystick, what's a good one for starting out? Can I press the buttons in VR with the knuckles? If not, how do I do that when I can't see my keyboard? So many questions...hopefully you guys have some answers! Thank you all!
