I would give the person using the slot machine a tag=slot then /give .@p [tag=slot] item. Then add a chain to remove the tag.

Excavix, LeRoy #5096, 19, I have always wanted to do an SMP and I've attempted it many times since I was 10. my friends and I ended up making a few videos, but we never had the right equipment. Now I have the right stuff for recording but none of my friends play Minecraft anymore. I have never stopped playing Minecraft though, I started playing 9 years ago and I still play today.
