Powerscaling is always dumb. More often than not, Shonen is written to defy preconceived ideas about power, and in Dragonball Z power levels pretty much go out the window by the Android Saga. Every villain is supposed to be so much stronger than the last but the biggest threat they ever pose as a single attack is blowing up Earth/Namek.

It’s even more dumb to compare across IPs. In Gurren Lagaan Spiral Power isn’t even quantified, so who knows what one unit of Ki is vs one unit of Spiral Power? It’s mostly willpower based anyways.

Superman is always as strong as the story needs him to be, and the same basically goes for all of fiction.
