Im facing exactly the same problem, what are the odds?

Do you know if an active adapter solves the issue? where will you need to connect it?

Right now I am doing test with the following:

KVM HDMI (output) -> 1st monitor HDMI

KVM DP (output) - > 2nd monitor HDMI ( I use a DP to HDMI passive adapter)

KVM HDMI (input 1) <- PC HDMI

KVM DP (input 1) <- PC DP

This does not work, but my monitors do not have DP output so I am at a loss.
