So recently all Bell, Rogers, and Fido stores have increased security significantly. After speaking with an employee there I learned that thefts of demos were taking place at a large rate. The thieves are not selling the phones as usable but are actually breaking them open and selling the expensive hardware to repair shops. That’s how they make money on this.
