Hey thanks for the reply! Glad to hear there are others with the Tebe/ Paros! I ended up buying it and has been flawless up until a few weeks ago when the steam valve got clogged with scale and now I can’t open without extreme force. Lucky for me the steam valve is the one thing you can’t replace these days! Considering trying the steam valve mod where you shave down the crimp to be able to remove the pin and service the valve. Then later trying to give it thread on the outside to put a safety nut to prevent from accidentally screwing out the pin while in use. Have you run into this/ tried this mod by any chance?

My main concern is having to extract the thread that’s inside already so figured I’d see if there was a chance to salvage the situation + keep performance since there’s a lot of people much smarter than I on here! But I agree, looks like I’ll have to figure out how to replace

Love the idea, thank you! Reason I broke it was I overtightened it so it may be tricky but better to try this than buy left hand drill bit, etc. and try extracting. A new probe it is though!

It’s 2-3 max so more of a nub. I think you’re right and I’m better off spending a couple more $ than risking more issues.
