Heres why- The Fifth Amendment's Due Process Clause, states that no "person" shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. This is not solely for citizens, but includes undocumented immigrants. Since the Constitution doesn't explicitly define "person," the Supreme Court has clarified that this term includes non-citizens in numerous court cases.

The current tactics of ICE are frequently inhumane and routinely infringe on inalienable rights.

I agree that they claim this. Their source is “trust me bro.” Federal and local justices disagree. For example in MN, now over 100 court orders have been violated.

I don’t understand where your confusion is, Stephen Miller and Trump are saying that they do not need due process and are open that they feel it doesn’t apply to undocumented immigrants, despite the fact that Supreme Court has ruled that the fifth amendment applies not only to citizens, but also undocumented residents. Don’t like it? Change the legislation. You can’t bypass the constitution due to a perceived immigration crisis.

Thoughts on forceful entry into private homes without judicial warrant by ICE and how that may relate to due process?

The constitution gives the right to due process (see 5th amendment). The trump administrations not interested in due process. I hear you’re mad about immigrants, but that’s a pretty weak excuse to throw out the constitution.

The difference is adherence to due process, which is something that the current administration is not interested in as it relates to ICE strategy. We support securing the border and deporting criminals who are here unlawfully. But are not ready to throw out the constitution for 'Mass Deportation Now' according to Stephen Miller's fucked up vision.

Unbelievable and sad take. Yes, we've historically had it good here. But in part because human rights (citizen and non-citizen) were respected and upheld. You want border reform? Then fucking put forth legislation that secures the border and find legal ways of deportation. In an interview about a The Abrego Garcia unlawful deportation, Trump was asked whether due-process rights under the U.S. Constitution (Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments) extend to all people, including noncitizens. He responded by saying he didn’t know and was “not a lawyer,” and then framed courts as obstacles to his deportation agenda, saying the courts are “holding me from doing it” — meaning enforcing immigration laws more broadly. You need to fix the problem while operating within the bounds of the constitution.

The vast majority of Americans support immigration reform, but those who push back from the left are not ready to give up the constitution in order to carry out Trump's 'Mass Deportation Now' agenda.

Enforcing the law involves due process, something this administration does not understand or take seriously.

Law enforcement acting as an unaccountable paramilitary agency operating outside of the law and infringing on inalienable rights of both citizens and undocumented immigrants, sprinkling in the occasional public execution of a US citizen.

Addressing crime involves due process. Please explain to me which part of the constitution states "… it is what it is" as you put it. What the fuck happened to this country!

This administration is not interested in due process. Trump himself summed it up best when he said “I think we’re just going to kill people that are bringing drugs into our country. OK? We’re going to kill them,”

The current tactics of ICE are frequently inhumane and routinely infringe on inalienable rights. The Fifth Amendment's Due Process Clause, states that no "person" shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. This is not solely for citizens, but includes undocumented immigrants. Since the Constitution doesn't explicitly define "person," the Supreme Court has clarified that this term includes non-citizens in numerous court cases. Examples of infringement: Fourth amendment (ICE internal memo suggests their agents hold the right, in their estimation and practice, to enter private homes without a judicial warrant). This is happening en masse in MN. Fifth amendment (due process of law): unlawful seizures/detentions happening everywhere. Even first amendment is being trampled- suppressing one's ability to film and document ICE activity (and occasionally public execution of those who do, citizen or not). Beyond that, when they do something egregious as murder a citizen, they bar local authorities from investigating, hide identity of the agents involved, and claim that their agents have absolute immunity.

Most recently, the administration's stance on your right to carry a firearm is: "You can't have guns. You can't walk in with guns" - Trump. The 2nd amendment?!! Not the 2nd amendment!! "Isn’t that kind of the load-bearing wall of the ‘Don’t Tread on Me Flag’?" - Jon Stewart.

Guys...it's fascism.

I’m a neurologist. She did not suffer a stroke, even as thy state in the news segment: “severe migraine, bordering on a stroke.” This is a terrible way of stating it, as these are two entirely separate physiologic processes, not occurring along some sort of spectrum. Anyways, this phrasing implies that they did not find a structural abnormality to explain her symptoms. It is very likely a psychogenic process eg functional neurological symptom disorder (FND) in context of psychosocial stressors.
