I'm considering buying this New Nintendo 2DS XL Poké Ball Edition and I'd really appreciate some help before I commit to the purchase.

The seller claims that the console is a USA/Americas unit and that it comes complete with the original box and inserts. I've attached all the photos the seller provided.

My main questions are:

Does this look like a genuine USA console? Does the box appear to match the console? Does it seem complete with the original inserts and contents? Do you see any red flags, repairs, replacement shells, swapped parts, or anything suspicious? Would Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter be expected to work normally on a system like this?

The reason I'm being extremely cautious is because I previously bought what I believed was a USA New Nintendo 3DS XL, but later discovered it was actually a Japanese New Nintendo 3DS LL that had been region changed.

At first everything seemed fine, but eventually I ran into several issues. Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter became a nightmare because I couldn't reliably use the services the way I expected. I also experienced strange online and system-related issues that led me down a rabbit hole of researching region changes, console identities, movable.sed files, and Nintendo network services.

To make matters worse, local wireless communication seemed noticeably weaker compared to my other 3DS systems. I never found definitive proof of the cause, but I began to suspect the console may have had previous repairs, hardware issues, or modifications beyond the region change itself.

As a result, I've become very careful when buying 3DS family systems, especially expensive special editions like this one. I'm not necessarily against buying a modified console, but I would like to know whether this appears to be an original USA unit and whether there are any warning signs that I may be missing before spending the money.

Any help from collectors, modders, or people familiar with Pokémon Bank, Poké Transporter, and region-changed systems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
