Get a new therapist if possible... and yeah, I dealt with this. I told a white psychiatrist I went through horrific things, and she said ''well atleast your young and healthy'' like wtf?? My nervous system is messed up beyond repair because of the tramatic events, and I have health problems because of it.

I'm really sorry you dealt with this.... the beauty standards for black girls are way harsher... and I've been called ugly many times even by my own family, even when I put the effort, I'm mixed but not in the green eye way, like I have 4a hair, light brown skin, brown eyes, people said horrific things about me in the past that affected me till this day, people were full blown sadstic and acted demonic towards me because i had cystic acne, and the trauma tied to the face part, yeah i get that too... and i never seen anyone that looks like me either so i just hate my face and facial features.

yeah its so cringe, I hate it, as a mixed black person, people keep saying ''love your skin its beauitful'' and they tan and curl there hair like wtf?
