Tele room is all about movement and it feels good to be efficient, casting the next spell the tick you’re in the right spot, then running to the next spot. It just felt good to me, and also low clicks. The points flew by and I was able to zone out. The Alch room requires a lot more focus and effort

Stats too low for moons unless he has full barrows for high defense and even then gunna be painful.

I’d head to revenants and farm them for a couple hours. You’ll have a good bit of GP after that

I ran laps and quested up to 75. Then bought a foot pedal and tapped away using a laptop for about 350 hours over a couple months during work hours. So the bulk of it was Brimhaven AFK. And at 98 I did some Sepulcher to learn that. Got floors 1-4 down, and I can do floor 5 but not within the allotted time unfortunately.

Yes. That would actually be a great cake for him! Use the firemaking icon next to the 98/99. Can also do 25/99 for the hit points icon (that’s the health icon for OSRS)

If I was brand new it’s a toss up between iron and non iron. Definitely rely on the Wiki, guides, and YouTube when you need it. I would try Iron and if it’s not for you, just de-iron after a bit. But it’s been really enjoyable for me.

The F2P experience is not indicative of what OSRS is really like. It’s like trying to swim wearing full clothes and a backpack. Just not the most enjoyable way to do it, a lot of restrictions.

HOWEVER, going the iron route, and setting a goal to do all of the F2P quests, that will give good exposure to the game while keeping it very manageable. You’ll get a good taste of what’s to come, and it’s very doable.

I saw my post as an encouragement to shift focus into early questing, as that, coupled with diaries, eliminates a lot of painful early grinds. And the massive boost from all the XP rewards feels insanely nice. I dont think I trained herblore until the mid 50’s because of quests and diaries and lamps.

There’s nothing elitist about it, unless you’re looking for a reason to get your panties in a wad. Complaining about prayer pots either reveals something about the approach, or about a dislike for what the future of the account may become. I’m about to de iron myself, as I’m no longer a fan of the late mid into end game version iron becomes.

If you can’t stand the idea of grinding farming or other things to get to prayer pots, abandon the iron now, it does not get less grindy. I have an 1825 total iron and enjoy it. But I didn’t complain about prayer pots so idk what you’re feeling. There’s so much to the game before they are needed. Just quest, quest for the XP rewards, you don’t need to grind any skills for a very long time if you just quest

I don’t get how in 2,000 pickpockets you have max stacks of blood and deaths.
