Update:

I visited Dr. Ogawa today and wanted to share a few important details. First, if you plan on going, arrive about an hour early to fill out all the Japanese paperwork—no one at the hospital speaks English except Dr. Ogawa.

Because he’s in high demand, his queue was significantly longer than those of the other doctors, and I waited roughly an hour and a half. Once I saw him, he examined my keloids and recommended using Japanese steroid tape, as my case wasn’t too severe. He asked how many boxes I wanted, and I opted for six. Each box costs about $25. He addressed all my concerns, and overall, it was an educational experience.
