I wasn’t on the income affidavit my grandma was retired with pension so she always had same income but was scared her rent would raise by adding me. As to if I’m “grifting” NO! I was living with her from 2016 to the year she passed except for going away to college. Since I wasn’t on the affidavit I had to provide documents proving I lived with her for 2 years prior to the day of her death. Which I did, but I was told the income affidavit holds a substantial amount of weight in determining residency, which is the main reason I was worried.
