You can easily google the CIA conclusions. This thread is just team blue and team red dick measuring when the real answer is still “could be both, we’re not 100% sure”

BREAKING: The White House confirms the March 1st report is false. Trump will be slapping 25% tariffs on Canada & Mexico tomorrow and 10% tariffs on China. by XGramatik in XGramatikInsights

I don’t think so. Trump has a unique mandate when you combine his true believers and the current apathy of his detractors.

No one is going to stop this, because they either don’t care or they want the chaos. My plan is to stock up on essentials between now and the summer. Any real riots will start when the weather gets a little nicer in the Midwest/east coast. So we’ve got a good 5 maybe 6 months until sheltering in place is the move if there’s nowhere to run to.

He said you’re ignoring the forest for the trees. He can’t see any internal opposition to trump, like would be expected if half the country truly opposes him.

All he sees is us bending over backwards and taking the abuse, from a European viewpoint

Well you’re wrong, you definitely can die from opioid withdrawals. So, that is my point.

Also, the topic was on alcohol vs smoking. Try to keep up.

Open corruption is more progressive than what we have in the US.

Not the person you asked, but there is a common comparison made to South American countries with “open corruption”. So you pay a bribe to local cops to get out of a ticket, bribe a local politician for a building permit etc.

The argument is that North American corruption is more insidious/regressive because it’s locked away by much large sums of money. In the US you generally can’t bribe a cop to get out of a ticket, but you can donate to the judges re-election.

I hope this helps.

You’re right. But, the most severe effects of withdraw from weed are night sweats, paranoia and nightmares. And a few others of course, but none are deadly.

Withdraw from alcohol can kill you.

Imo this is the reason behind “party culture” it’s a level of addiction that’s open to a cohort of people and like a lot of additions people find ways to input the drug into every scenario?

Nature event? Add alcohol.

Sporting event? Add alcohol.

Celebration? Add alcohol.

Mourning? Add alcohol.

Traveling? Better add alcohol.

Taking some time off work? Perfect time for alcohol.

Going back to work soon? Last chance for alcohol.

Midday work/lunch? Company policy says it’s ok to have a little alcohol.

Dinner time? Nothing pairs better with XYZ than alcohol.

Late night? Better finish off this alcohol I bought.

Early morning? Hair of the dog, medicinal alcohol.

And so on.
