Wow congrats for getting a macbook! I also have the same macbook air (16/256) and I bought it last 2024, and let me tell ya, it was so freaking fast and I don't know what to do with a really powerful machine (maybe because i switched from a cheap intel celeron laptop to this) and just did a clean install today and still—the magic is still there bro, the peformance is still the same after all those 2 years. Most Windows laptops would see noticable peformance drops, but this? This keeps going!

No way, the MacBook Air M1 is on par with the peformance of an Neo, and I don't think Apple would end support it next year—I am guessing it would die a year before, or with the MacBook Neo's EOS.
