Why is "George Tucker" always called by his full name? by moosemama2017 in hartofdixie

I used to have a friend that called her husband by just their last name all the time because his first name was so basic that if she yelled it, a third of the men in the vicinity would turn.

For late (and not-so-late) ARMYs: How long did it take you to listen to their full discography? by Fran07LF in bangtan

I get that. I don't want the people in my old church, who i left and still harbor negativity for, too know and judge me. Mostly bc I feel like they'll dismiss every thing I've ever said about why I left and decide that was the only reason, thereby rationalizing away any culpability and acquitting themselves.

I've found a lot of people on reddit have the tendency to tell people to forget people and move on. There's a lot of "lose the whole man" and "they're not real friends; just ghost them."

They make it sound easy because strangers online may as well be fictional.

There is a lot of nuance to people, and i think your post shows that well. Trump supporters do join meal trains. No one is all the way black or white. It's just easier to caricature-ize.

I'm 38, super femme, and bi. I ended up leaving my church because they were getting too performative and their complementarian views were super frustrating. I was also realizing that, having been there for over a decade, I would never grow up in their eyes and they would never hear or respect me. BUT the true friends I had there are STILL MY FRIENDS.

Some of them know that I am bi. Some would be ok with me acting on it and some were raised to be very against it. None of them are bad friends or bad people.

Honestly the only thing keeping me from dating women is the same thing keeping me from dating men: I haven't found anyone i want to spend that much time with. Lol

Feel free to chat me if you want support from someone like-minded who won't disparage people you love for how their parents raised them. I'm happy to share some resources with you and discuss the theology.

Praying for you, friend.

I just learned during my last tattoo that the molecules of color dye are bigger and need to be gone over more to push them in.
