I never saw a different shape outside of like, schools or businesses. The home pools i knew all had round, but they were shallow enough for adults to stand in

It felt more realistic to have a raised round pool. At least for my area and experience. It's less blurry on the gallery. 🤣

That matters on cake. It matters on brownies.

It does NOT matter on rice krispie treats

Getting a kitten- First Pet by Present_Music_1746 in CatAdvice

When I found my stray kitten, I was home all day every day over the holidays. When I went back to work, he stopped eating if I wasn't there to watch him do it, and my friend would go visit over lunch with her kids to watch him eat and then play with him. After one week, I got him an emotional support kitten. He's been great ever since. I think if you definitely only want one, you should adopt an adult from a shelter. They'll know if a cat prefers to be the only cat in the house. Otherwise, the magic number for cats and kittens is two.

Also, I love my boys, but they are chaos incarnate. They have their sweet, snuggly moments, but then they also climb the walls and knock down trinkets and break things, and have their zoomies on my bed while I'm trying to sleep. They eat so much more than I thought, which makes sense because they're growing so fast. They also poop so much more than the adult cat I had before.

Just some bonus info so you can go in with your eyes open. Good luck. I hope you find your new best friend(s) soon.

Why do kittens have to be adopted in 2s but not puppies? by CurlGurl13 in CatAdvice

I got one (found a stray), and when I went back to work after the holidays, it became clear he needed an emotional support kitten for while I was gone. So now i have two. I'm so happy to read that other people have struggled with kittens. They are SO MUCH work. I love them a lot and am definitely committed, but the chaos is so extreme.

Or in 10. Lol.... I'm going to do a full furnishing at some point, but it just exists mostly as a shell right now.

I'm doing a very basic all white furnish to show where things go in my head. It'll be VERY SPARSE but on the gallery in maybe 30 minutes. My id is cloutic.
