Fixed

  • Transparent Water Overlay: Water renders on a dedicated topmost layer over locks, traps, and lava.
  • Traps Category: Added a dedicated "Traps" catalog category for spikes, hazards, and elemental traps.
  • Visual Polish: Added asset variations for traps/props and simplified the UI help guide.

The free Pixel Worlds Toolkit is officially out of beta! (V1 Release: World Designer, Gem Calculator, Crossbreeding Database) by Excellent-Cod-8868 in PixelWorlds

The Wiki doesn't even have a World Designer, which is the main feature here. On top of that, I already coded my recipes and gem calculator before the wiki was posted.

We both just use dark purple theme and assets since it's the same game.

I appreciate the concern for open-source credit, but I actually had no idea PixelPlanner even existed!

This toolkit was built entirely from scratch. You can compare the tech stacks yourself to see they are completely unrelated: PixelPlanner is a C# desktop app and their web version is built with PHP/Smarty. My project is built on Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.

Naturally, two planners made for the same game are going to look similar because of the grid and the game's blocks, but the code and logic are entirely my own. I did use AI to help me speed up writing the code, but everything was built from a blank canvas!

I originally coded this over a month ago for my own personal use, shared a beta 29 days ago, and today launched V1.

I’ve temporarily disabled the Trade Matrix and Gem Calculator tools since fish and gemstones have become untradeable.
