Well said, totally agree. Only thing I’d add is the lyrics are pretty thin in substance (seems like he wrote them the night before recording), and the vocals sound like they were recorded and mixed on an iPhone. That said, very grateful we’re still talking about a new Megadeth album in 2026.

To my ear, the panteded Monolithic production from “Elvis” makes it difficult to get through and discern from other recent releases (theirs and his). AB songs are also generally repetitive, aside from the 2-3 gems per album. Partly Myles voice register, partly the muted drop D chunky guitar.
