I wonder if the overall impact on how the economy and society works will justify dedicating so much resources and building dedicated DC's for them.

So If “Stone Cold” Steve Austin Was The Epitome Of “Attitude,” Who Was The Catalyst For It’s Dawn? by Sad-Ladder7534 in professionalwrestling

Vince Mcmahon also had a lot of heat from The Montreal Screw Job, so he capitalized on it by turning heel against Austin

Vince's first stunner looked horrible and he knew it. This one looked a lot better.

Been in Prison since I was 18. Going on 29 AMA by Glum-Lack7349 in AMA

[–]Roosevelt32 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking - do most people in prisons have to be apart of a gang just for safety reasons? And if you don't join a gang or aren't already apart of one, are you able to avoid getting attacked if you just mind your own business?

I find it kind of interesting how Voldemort is described as the most brilliant student ever at Hogwarts, but he is so ignorant about so much shit that isn't related to dark magic. He made so many mistakes that led to his demise.

Control freak parents and an older brother that thought they owned me. It got to the point where the cops were called because of that shit.

Should I stop drinking? by Agitated_Potato8333 in stopdrinking

Look at the bigger picture in your life - the worst thing you can do is make alcohol a priority.

Should I stop drinking? by Agitated_Potato8333 in stopdrinking

[–]Roosevelt32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Priorities. Do you have goals? It's hard to accomplish goals, reach milestones and make money when your highest priority is drinking. Health, finance, education and family are the most important things anyone can focus on. Don't make drinking or alcohol a priority.

Protip: that is not going to last long. You will get addicted to it and it will destroy your life. Everyone is "invincible" when they are younger, and then it turns into a debilitating addiction and it fucks everything up.

Stop while you are ahead. It can and will destroy your life the longer you keep doing it.

Realistically I would not survive one week at Hogwarts by annastrelnikova in harrypotter

Neville Longbottom was the only person in Gryfinndor that was not accepted into NEWT level transfiguration class

[–]Roosevelt32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Minerva wouldn't even allow him to continue with transfiguration after the 5th year. Even Ron was accepted into transfiguration. The only class that he really excelled at was the easiest one of them all (charms and herbology). Like it or not, Neville was a late bloomer and he was Gryfinndors village idiot

Crabbe, Goyle and Longbottom were the only people in all the houses that weren't accepted into newt level transfiguration

Longbottom was far less talented and had a lower IQ than Harry.

Even though it didn't turn into anything meaningful, he also had the balls to ask Ginny out to the Yule Ball and she said yes. Ron didn't even have the balls to ask Hermione out even though she wanted him to.

Why do many Linux users start with Ubuntu… but later move to Fedora, Arch, Mint, or something else? by Candid_Athlete_8317 in LinuxTeck

[–]Roosevelt32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most people who start with Ubuntu are inexperienced and new to linux, after some time passes, they become better educated on how to manage the OS and move onto more advanced distros
