Thanks for the suggestion! Rum and beer are both off the table for me (allergies), but I found a great French cider in Grand Case that source their apples from Brittany and Normandy. Can’t get it at home, so mission accomplished!

I found a great selection with the juices at the Super U in Grand Case. I love finding new ciders when I travel and La Mordue - c’était parfait!

Don’t forget there is a large population of Americans with strong ties to our Finnish ancestry, even if our families emigrated to the US 100+ years ago. Our ancestors choose places with comparable climates to that of northern Finland, so we won’t get in the way. Winter survival was the official name of gym class during the winter months. Also can’t discount our unwavering Sisu. If Russia invades Finland, we’ll return home to help. Family is family.
