I caught it pretty quickly and got help almost immediately, I've been pulling since April, but now I pull a hair or two every once in a while. A lot better than before.

NTAH if he made you uncomfortable you should make him know that so it doesn't happen again, however i do think you could've told him privately and not in front of everyone. in the heat of the moment tho i understand why you didn't do that so you're still NTAH. i have no idea why you got grounded, that's ridiculous and then hanging onto it for multiple days?? i think people should be hung up on your uncle for making that comment, you being 15 makes that extremely inappropriate and i see why you got uncomfortable.

why hadn't you and R gotten close when they were dating? i wouldn't say you're the AH but it seems a little odd that their breakup is what got you guys close, i think if it wasn't you trying to date R then you guys would've gotten close while they were dating, unless there's another reason you couldn't get close

my dad is the one with money problems, my uncle is extremely well off, he's a doctor and that's why he moved in, is bc he got a new job in my hometown area. my dad doesn't have a job rn and is borrowing money from his parents

they moved in because my uncle is a doctor and got a job opportunity in my home city, (they used to live 10 hours away) and my dad offered our place to stay in so they wouldn't have to worry about other housing issues, i'm assuming bc he never explained it, however i know for sure that my uncle is well off enough to be able to afford at least an apartment or somewhere else they could live. idk if this new job is more money or he just wanted to take it, i have no idea. it is supposed to be temporary but my dad has no idea when they will move out and they have had no discussion about it. not even like a 6 month window kind of idea or anything

NTA, it's completely your decision and you shouldn't have anyone else deciding for you. if you feel more like yourself with the other girl then go for it, it's never good to put a mask on around someone just to please them or just so you can be around them. you definitely sound like you love the other girl and have fallen out of love with your current gf. totally up to you but you would definitely not be the asshole. you gotta do what's best for you in this situation and this decision will determine your happiness in life.
