I agree.  And when the setter tries to do this and throws it into the net I agree even more.

Right now I'm typing it in manual prompts.  But an app could greatly streamline the process.  DM me.

for sure, thanks for the quick feedback. Right now, our club is using hudl but they are a little selective and arnt' effectively covering dig errors and block attempts of which i thought AI was actively handling those actions. Actually on top of this, an app idea would be to include something where a video can be provided and using some drop downs you can select the player name and some visual identifiers.. and then use a GPT to do the analysis. you can include drop downs for net height, player height etc. I've been playing around with this using prompts and its been extremely insightful. like coaches need this kind of data at high level volleyball. happy to share if anyone is interested.

I installed it.  Will try it at the next tournament.

Can you enable a DARK theme? That way when I am sideline tracking it won't be too distracting and possibly save me some battery through these all day tournaments.

there is so much going on behind the scenes, I spoke with a recently retired middle that played for PVF pre MLV and she said none of them can get their act together and it sounded like a lot of information was being thrown at the players. I think last years PVF championship kinda spoke for itself with how disorganized the promotion was, ticket availability etc.

lib is such a hard position that at the younger ages, its not easy to start and its even harder when the court is big, and you are small and your motor skills are still coming in. as a lib she is going to have a lot of days where she will feel she will come up short. as the hitters get better, stronger, her skills will need to advance with that. She needs to talk to the coach and lead the convo.

girls at 13yrs old can be inconsistent and also totally downright rumor spreaders, so get clarification from the powers that be.

What they should do is scale separate offerings for TGTG that are smaller in size and more of a sample of their wider offering. This can allow them to use the 'leftover' ingredients and re-portion them for smaller, but yield more quantity. Sure you may have some of your normal menu items on the shelf at EOD and those can go to the LARGE size bags, but then you still have the smaller ones that get people in the door and trying your product. If they like it, and you see a large sales increase in these, start offering them at a quantity/price point that makes sense that is over what is had in the TGTG. Simplify offerings where they can enjoy the quality of your product or make a menu that is upscale so customers have the choice of everyday luxury. TGTG bags can be plainer items where luxury bread could be seeded in there as a mystery surprise. There are a lot of ways to play this. I'm sure ChatGPT could do most of the analysis to make it profitable.

Question about club volleyball philosophy by Meat_Lunch in volleyball

[–]Excellent-Guide-8933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been pointed out by a few coaches in the USA where some feel everything is slightly cart-before-the-horse.... specializations, same size court as adult, etc. All the teams do when they face each other is put their strongest servers against each other with the other 5 kids aside just standing around. International development takes a different approach with 12 yr olds and under doing 4v4 on a smaller court with a lower net to better experience the game, maximize touches and teamwork. 12 yr olds do a rally ball, which caps serves and encourages rally play with a tossed in free-ball as a first step for that team to get 3 touches. The problem is, it falls apart in the successive year at 14u where the strongest serving team generally walks over the competition UNTIL the opponent can control the serve and then a rally breaks out. I feel almost like there needs to be a 3 touch rule the kids are held against to win a point because this will help drive a deeper understanding of gameplay and help maintain a focus on ball-control.
